Bajpe cops arrest 2 men for illegal transportation of beef worth Rs 2 lakhs

Mangaluru, July 30, 2024: Bajpe police have arrested two men hailing from Moodbidri on the charges of illegal beef transportation. Beef worth Rs 2 lakh has been seized from them.
Those arrested are Mohammad Sultan (19) and Mohammad Arif (24). They were transporting the beef in a vehicle. The raid took place near a bhajana Mandir in Baitari in Edapadavu village.
The prime accused in the case is said to be absconding.
