Bantwal, May 11, 2024: Police have arrested two men at BC Road on Friday night on the charges of circulating fake currency notes.
Those arrested are Muhammad of Kasargod and Kamarunnisa of Koodlu. Kamarunnisa’s husband Sharief managed to escape.
The Police acted based on the complaints of the public. The accused had over 40 fake notes of 500 denomination. Their car and mobile phones have been seized by the police.
