Bantwal, Dec 23, 2022: Bantwal police have arrested two youth on the charges of peddling MDMA tablets.

Those arrested are Deekshith alias Appoos (19) from Manjeshwar and Irshad (25) of Barekadu. They were arrested at Goodinabali when cops on patrolling duty suspected the duo who were in an autorickshaw. On questioning it came to light that both were under the influce of the banned MDMA.

They had nine grams of MDMA tablets worth Rs 20,000 with them. The police have also seized the autorickshaw of the accused.
