Bantwal, July 25, 2023: Four persons including two women sustained serious injuries when the car in which they were travelling collided with a tipper at Parlot on the Maani-Mysuru Road on July 25, Tuesday.
Some people from Mumbai were on way to Mysuru from Mangaluru when the lorry heading towards Mangaluru from Puttur collided against it.
The injured have been rushed to hospital. The accident affected vehicular movement on the road for some time.
Incessant rains that have been lashing the district have resulted in increased accidents. Traffic police as well as highway officials have urged motorists to drive carefully and at reduced speed in order to avert accidents.
