Bantwal, July 18, 2024: As Bantwal has been receiving incessant rainfall, water level in Netravathi river has been constantly rising and has presently reached 7.8 meters. The administration has shifted six families from Aladka in Panemangaluru as a precautionary measure.

Several agricultural fields have been inundated in the vicinity of the Netravathi river bank areas.

In Bantwal, the danger level of Netravathi is 8.5 meters. The water level is increasing since Wednesday evening and agricultural lands in Sarapady, Barimaru, Maninalkur have been affected.
