Bantwal: Lightning strike causes extensive damage to house

Bantwal, October 1, 2024: Lightning strike has damaged a house at Uruvalu village of Bantwal taluk on Monday evening.
The lightning struck the house of Sesappa and caused substantial damage. The electric meter was burnt while the house has developed cracks.
Luckily there was no one in the house as Sesappa had gone to school to bring his children back.
The RCC house was constructed nine years ago and is completely damaged due to the lightning strike.
