Bantwal, Sep 17, 2020:     Bantwal Rural police have arrested a resident of Mangalpady in Kerala  who is said to be involved in inter-district theft cases. A stolen two-wheeler has been recovered from him.

The arrested person is Ashraf Ali. The police who were on patrolling duty found Ali standing suspiciously near the Polali bus stand along with the two-wheeler. He tried to escape on seeing the police vehicle. The alert cops immediately apprehended him. On enquiry it came to light that he had stolen the two-wheeler from Addoor.

He is facing theft cases in Ullal, Konaje and other police stations and was once earlier  arrested in a theft case and  was released just two weeks ago.
