Belthangady: Dangling electricity cable claims life of bike rider

Belthangady, Jan 07, 2022: In a tragic case, a bike rider lost his life after his neck got entangled in a dangling electricity wire near Hede Society on Didupe Samse Road near Mundaje late night on January 6, Thursday. The deceased is Raghu, a resident of Koyyur.
Earlier, on Thursday night, a pick-up vehicle laden with hay had rammed into an electricity pole following which electricity cables got snapped and lay scattered on the ground. Unaware of this, Raghu who was passing that way on his bike at around 11 pm, fell on the road after a wire got entangled in his neck. He died on the spot.
