Belthangady, March 27, 2025: A lineman associated with the Venoor branch of Belthangady sub-division of MESCOM has been found dead under suspicious circumstances on March 26.

The deceased is Sudhaker alias Kitta (50) from Naravi. He was on duty on Wednesday when he was found dead in a drain near the transformer close by Andinje road. Locals who noticed him, shifted him to the Primary Health Centre at Venoor where doctors pronounced him dead.

There were no marks of injury on his body. The exact cause of his death is yet to be known.
