Belthangady, April 02, 2022: A municipal worker of the Belthangady Town Panchayat who was missing since January has been found dead. His body was traced in a highly decomposed state at the government ground at Belthangady.

The deceased is Linga Shetty (43) who hailed form K R Nagar, Mysuru but was residing in Belthagady in a rented house with his wife two sons and a daughter.

It is learnt, he had an affair with a woman a few months ago and when the same came to the notice of his family he had attempted suicide and was hospitalised.  Though he was at home after his discharge, he had gone missing in January. However, his family had not lodged any missing complaint.
