Belthangady, January 29, 2025: A bus on way to Alandadka from Dharmasthala veered off the road and landed on a roadside drain near Somanthadka in Mundaje on Tuesday.  The bus was full of passengers including students when it met with the mishap.

Though several passengers were injured, luckily the injuries were minor in nature. They were all rushed to the hospital by locals.

There was a house in a low lying area close by the place where the bus met with the mishap. Many children were also playing in the area and the bus escaped narrowly from falling over the house.
