Mangalore, Jan 22: The Bangalore Stock Exchange launched an investor friendly deposit-based membership scheme to encourage entrepreneurship in the financial market sector. These schemes enable individuals to set up their own businesses.
Ravi Kumar, the executive director of the firm, said at a press conference organized in Poonja International on Jan 22, Friday that the membership scheme includes several benefits. Moreover, it is a self-regulating mechanism, which ensures speedy resolution of consumer problems and answering of investor queries.
Mr. Kumar said that Indian professionals need to keep a sharp watch on the market. He said that the equity market in India has unlimited potential.
He also said that, if they become members of BgSE, they will be automatically entitled to become sub brokers of subsidiary BgSE Financials. This ensures that settlement and reconciliation issues are automatically dealt with, leaving the individual to take care of back office processing and accounting of transactions.
