The Bhajrangdal leader was also highly critical of  Love Jihad and added this was nothing but a ploy of Muslim youth to lure innocent Hindu girls into their love trap and eventually get them converted.

On this occasion, Sooryanarayana, without mentioning any name  also alleged that those indulging in love jihad were  funded by many people.

He also referred to the recent case of conversion bid of a young girl from Palthady  and said girls are taken to Ponnani for conversion. He further charged the Congress of backing one of its office bearer Nooruddin who is an accused in this case.

Demanding a CoD probe into the Palthady incident, he  urged Muslim leaders to advise youngsters to shun from such activities.

Sharan Pumpwell, Jagadish Shenava, Bhajrangdal leaders, were also present at the press meet.
