Bharat Seva Dal and Corporation Bank observe Nehru’s birth anniversary

Mangalore, November 14:  The Bharath Seva Dal (district unit) in collaboration with Corporation Bank celebrated the 121st birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, the former prime minister of India, on Nov 14.

The members of Bharath Seva Dal and Corporation Bank employees paid floral tributes to the statue of Jawaharlal Nehru, which is located near the SP’s office.

Pradeep Kumar Kalkura in his address urged the current generation to emulate the ideals of Chacha Nehru, whose birth anniversary is being observed as Children’s Day all over India.

Bashir Baikampady, the district president of Seva Dal; T. K. Sudhir, the secretary; Venkatesh; Asit Pal and Narendra Singh, the executive directors of Corporation Bank; B. R. Bhat and R. Kamath, the general managers of Corporation Bank; and many others participated in the event.
