Bike rider critical in road mishap ; accident caught on CC camera

Mangaluru, May 07, 2021: A young bike rider sustained critical head injuries after he met with an accident in a bid to avoid collision with another two-wheeler near Padavinangady on May 7, Friday morning. The accident scene has been caught on CCTV camera and the bike rider is seen tossed up in the air upto a height of 10 feet before he landed on the ground, due to the impact of the collision.
The injured has been identified as Prashanth Sanath (29), a resident of Sharbath Katte near Yeyyady.
He was on way to Yeyyadi from Padavinangady. At Perlaguri Cross a scooterist was crossing the road while another bike too was proceeding nearby. Prashanth who was reportedly riding his bike at great speed wanted to avert a collision when he lost control over his bike which eventually rammed into the steps of a shop following which Prashanth tossed up in the air and landed on the concrete road.
Mangaluru North Traffic Police have registered a case.
