Bike rider dies in tragic mishap on new Netravathi bridge

accident 1Mangalore, April 2, 2014 : An accident involving a two-wheeler and a bullet tanker on the recently inaugurated Netravathi Bridge has claimed the life of a young bike rider on April 1, Tuesday night.


The deceased bike rider has been identified as Navaraj Kulal (26). Navaraj who was a water bill reader by profession in Mangalore was heading towards his home at  Tokkottu Bhatnagara when tragedy struck.


The driver of the bullet tanker who was over speeding all of a sudden applied brake when Navaraj’s bike hit against the tanker from the rear.


The youngster who sustained grievous head injuries,  succumbed to his injuries.


Ullal police have registered a case.
