Bike rider killed after hit by tipper near Ganjimutt

Mangaluru, Oct 8, 2023: A biker rider was killed after being rammed by a tipper lorry near near Mucchur Cross, Ganjimutt on NH 169 on Friday evening.
The victim, identified as Sachin Kumar Acharya (33) and a resident of Gurupura Hosamane, tragically met his demise on the spot. Sachin had just completed his work at HDFC Bank and was en route to his home when the accident occurred. The collision transpired when a tipper, attempting to overtake his motorcycle, struck it.
Sachin is survived by his parents, one brother, and two sisters. The Bajpe police station has taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case.
