Black magic rituals performed in front of MCC building

Mangalore, Jul 5 2011: Some unidentified persons appear to have performed black magic rituals in front of the Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) building at Lalbhag in the early hours of July 5 Tuesday.

 

 

It may be recalled that similar rituals were performed in front of the Vidhana Soudha in Bangalore a few months back.

The MCC has a number of night watchmen; however, they all appear to have been asleep when the black magic rituals were being performed.

Vermilion, turmeric powder, sliced lemon, and broken pumpkin were seen strewn in front of the building on Tuesday morning. Road users noticed these items as they are commonly used in black magic rituals. Even motorists stopped for a brief period to time to get the latest.

The black magic items were found in the exact spot where the mayor parks his car.

The security personnel, which was apparently eager to prevent the issue from getting blow out of proportions, was seen pouring water over the items.
