Sullia, September 3, 2024: The body of a youth who had jumped into the Payaswini river near Kanthamangala has been traced.
The deceased is Sinan (30), son of Mohammad of Ajjavara village. It is being said that he was mentally ill and had attempted suicide on earlier occasions too.
On Monday he had been to Sullia and on his way home had jumped into the river from Kanthamangala bridge.
A search was launched and the body was traced in the evening.
Sullia police have registered a case.
