CCTV cameras to be immediately installed on either side of Netravathi bridge : Vedavyas Kamath

Mangaluru, Jan 18, 2020:  MLA of Mangaluru South Vedavyas Kamath has said that officials have been instructed to install CCTV cameras on either side of the Netravathi bridge in order to  prevent untoward incidents.

Participating in the Mangaluru Urban Development Authority meeting held on January 18, Saturday, the  MLA has also suggested    formulating an action plan to  construct a  protective fencing on either side  of the bridge. It has been decided that the action plan to be prepared would be approved in the meet to be held next month, the MLA informed.

 The meeting has also decided to develop the park at Valencia Junction on behalf of MUDA.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh, MLC Ivan D’Souza, MUDA Commissioner Srikanth Rao, MCC Commissioner Ajith Kumar Hegde and other officials.
