Vijaya Kumar has submitted a complaint to DC Subodh Yadav on Friday that Ravindra paid an official visit to Mangalore on Dec 24, Thursday to oversee the development of the Mangalore Urban Development Authority (MUDA), on the sidelines of which he addressed reporters at a press meet held in the BJP office, urging for votes in favour of the BJP. He also encouraged party activists to work for the success of BJP candidates. Dr. A. Ravindra also stands accused of using a government vehicle, which belongs to MUDA, to lead a political campaign for the BJP. Ministers Krishna J. Palemar, V. S. Acharya, and Nithin Kumar were also present along with Dr. Ravindra, he added.

DC Subodh Yadav said that strict action will be taken against Dr. Ravindra if the charges against him are found to be true.
