Canara High School CBSE Prefectorial Board installed

Mangalore, June 21, 2012: The investiture ceremony of the Prefectorial Board of Canara High School - CBSE was held in T. V. Raman Pai Auditorium on June 19, Tuesday.

Among the dignitaries present were Shri S. S. Kamath, honorary president of Canara High School Association (CHSA); Shri M. Ranganath Bhat, honorary secretary of CHSA; Shri Vaman Kamath, Shri Maroor Sudhir Pai, Shri Basty Purushottam Shenoy, Shri Ganesh Kamath, all members of the governing council; Shri Kochikar Sudhakar Pai, honorary correspondent; Shri Ramesh Kedilaya, advisor; Mrs. Joy J. Rai, principal; Tina Kamath, PTA president; and many other PTA members.

The members of the governing council presented badges and sashes to prefects and house captains, and Mrs. Joy Rai, principal, administered the oath. The dignitaries and members of the prefectorial board lit the ceremonial lamp, and the second edition of Spoorthi, the school magazine, was released by Shri S. S. Kamath, honorary president of CHSA.

The dignitaries on the dais addressed the gathering and wished the prefects well. On the occasion Spoorthi, the annual magazine was released.
