Mangaluru, Jan 26, 2025: As part of the centenary celebrations of Shri Sudhindra Tirtha Swamiji, a program titled Shatanamana Shatasmarana is being organized at the Car Street Venkataramana Temple until January 30.
Various cultural programs have been planned to commemorate the revered Guru. On January 26, at 6:00 PM, 100 singers from the GSB community will perform a special musical tribute, Shatanamana Shatasmarana, on a grand stage set up in front of the temple. Over two hours, these 100 artists will sing devotional songs dedicated to Shri Sudhindra Tirtha Swamiji with great reverence.
Nagesh Adgaonkar, Pandit Venkatesh Kumar, Pandit Jayateerth Mevundi, Sooryagayathri, Ankush N. Nayak and Puttur Narasimha Nayak
On January 27, at 6:00 PM, talented young singer Sooryagayathri and her team will present a devotional music concert. On January 28, Ankush N. Nayak, a promising young artist, will perform a sitar recital, followed by a musical program titled Sudhindra Smarana by renowned singer Puttur Narasimha Nayak, featuring songs dedicated to Swamiji.
On January 29, at 6:00 PM, Padma Shri awardee and celebrated Hindustani classical vocalist Pandit Venkatesh Kumar of Dharwad will present a Dasavani program. Finally, on January 30, at 6:00 PM, a jugalbandi performance by Pandit Jayateerth Mevundi of Hubballi and Nagesh Adgaonkar of Pune will conclude the celebrations.
The temple administration has invited devotees and admirers to participate in these special programs honoring the memory of Shri Sudhindra Tirtha Swamiji.
