Udupi, Nov 01, 2023: Hindutva activist Chaitra Kundapur who was arrested by the CCB police of Bengaluru in a cash for ticket scam was brought to Kota on October 31, Tuesday in connection with a case of fraud registered against her in Kota police station based on the complaint from fish seller Sudheena Poojary who accused her of extracting Rs 5 lakh from him after promising to help him open a textile shop.
Chaitra was produced before the JMFC court in Brahmavar. Police had sought her two day custody. She was later shifted to Mangaluru jail after interrogations were completed. She is expected to be shifted to Parappana Agrahara prison today.
