Roy Castelino who led the protest said the attack on Christian religious places was actually an indirect attack on the religious sentiments of Christians. He further warned that the Christian community would not hesitate to intensify its protests if the administration failed to secure justice to it and if such unwelcome acts continued.

The agitators submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner as well as the Justice Somashekhar Commission, seeking justice to the community.

AICUF, IFKCA, Konkani Yuva Awaz, and a number of non government organizations participated in the protest.
