Pamboor, 22 December 2010: The Manasa Rehabilitation and Training Centre in  Pamboor celebrated Christmas in a meaningful manner on Tuesday, 21st December 2010. Sr. Vinny Gonsalves,  the Principal of theInstitution warmly welcomed the chief guest-Sr. Thelma Lewis, Sr. Gracy Antony-the Provincial Superior of Holy Spirit Sisters of Southern Province and Sr. Irene Lasrado and all the staff and students of the institution.

The day’s chief guest was Sr. Thelma Lewis who had served in Manasa since its inception for eight years. In her message, Sr. Thelma said that she was very happy to be present for the Christmas celebration in the institute where she had spent her precious time and energy.


Sr. Gracy Antony in her speech said that the simplicity and prayerfulness of the inmates of Manasa was really admirable. She further said that she could feel the presence of God through the presence of these special children.  She appreciated the Innocence of the special children. Sr. Irene Lasrado also appreciated the presentation of the special children.


The children presented lively programme under the guidance of Mrs. Muriel Premalatha and Mrs. Pramilla Shobhavathi.


Vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Muriel Premalatha. All the teaching and non teaching staff were present at this  celebration. Everyone enjoyed sharing the cake and fruits as a sign of joy, peace and happiness which are the essential qualities of Christmas. www.bellevisison.com
