City Police launch Chatbot services for lost mobile phones and feedback system

Mangaluru, April 17, 2023: Two new initiatives of the Mangaluru City Police, namely, a feedback system by scanning QR Code and a Police Chatbot services to trace lost mobile phones, were  launched by DGP Praveen Sood on April 16, Sunday.

Under the new system, those who have lost mobile phone can send a Hi message to WhatsApp number +918277949193. Following this they will receive a link to a form which has to be filled and sent back.

Under this service, any person  who has lost his mobile phone needed not visit the police station. The only requirement is that the complainant must be  from Mangaluru Police Commissionerate limits.

So far through the CIER portal 120 mobile phones were found and handed over to their rightful owners, A total of 757 requests have been made to find lost mobile phones.

City Police Commissioner Kuldeep Kumar Jain and other police officials were present.
