Kadaba, Jan 25, 2024: In an incident that took place on Wednesday at Kadaba, a conductor on duty in a KSRTC bus took a college student to a police station after not accepting a photocopy of the bus pass produced by the student. The conductor was also adamant that the student produced the original bus pass and took the boy to the station despite him pleading that he had exams and would be late to the college.

The boy Ravi Ganesh, a first PUC student of Kadaba Government College had boarded the bus at Kalladka. Despite objection from other passengers, the conductor took the student to the station. Later the student’s father contacted the police station and narrated the situation following which the student was allowed to go. It is learnt, the student had lost his bus pass a few months ago and was hence using a colour photo copy of the same.
