Congress releases 3rd list: JR Lobo from Mangaluru South, Ashok Kumar Rai from Puttur

Mangaluru, April 15, 2023: The Congress on Sarurday released its third list of 43 candidates for the May 10 Karnataka assembly elections. The party named JR Lobo for Mangaluru South, Ashok Kumar Rai for Puttur and Uday Shetty to Karkala constituency.

The party however did not name the candidate for Mangaluru North constituency.

ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಮೂರನೇ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೋರುತ್ತೇವೆ.

ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮತಗಳಿಂದ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ವೈಭವವನ್ನು ಮರುಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ.

Among others, former Dy.CM Laxman Savadi who resigned from BJP and joined Congress on Friday, was given ticket from Athani constituency. Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who had sought a Kolar ticket has been denied and the party has given it to Kothur Manjunath.

Congress has denied a ticket to former minister and actor-turned-politician Umashree from Terdal and has given a ticket to Siddu Kannur.

Congress is yet to release a list of 15 seats.
