Congress used Muslims only as vote bank, alleges HD Kumaraswamy

Mangaluru, May 08, 2023: The Congress party only used the Muslim community as a vote bank and did nothing to provide better amenities, alleged JD(S) leader and former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy.

 

He was addressing a public meeting at Krishnapura on May 7, Sunday in support of Mangaluru North JD(S) candidate B A Mohiuddin Bava.

He said the Congress party which is stating that vote to the JD(S) is a vote to the BJP, has itself welcomed hardcore Hindutva leaders to the party.

Two national parties are taking undue advantage of innocent youth for their own gains, he alleged and added that the Billawa Corporation was announced with an eye on the votes of the community.

He exuded confidence that the voters would support the JD(S).

JD(S) working president B M Farooq, Mangaluru North candidate B A Mohiuddin Bava, Party leaders Akshit Suvarna, M B Sadashiva and others were present.
