Cops arrest man over suicide of pregnant wife

Kasargod, September 27, 2024: Kumble Police have arrested a man from Shantigodu in connection with the suicide of his pregnant wife.
The arrested man is Janardhana (29). His wife Vijetha (32) who was three months pregnant was found hanging from the ceiling fan inside their house on August 18. She hailed from Vamanjoor in Mangaluru and had left behind a death note which revealed that physical and mental torture by the husband forced her to take the extreme step. The couple had married just one and half years back.
The accused Janardhana has been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.
