Corporation Bank and Mangalore TOLIC observe Hindi Day

Mangalore, September 15: Mangalore Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC) and Corporation Bank jointly celebrated Hindi Day in the corporate office of Corporation Bank on Tuesday, September 14.

Shri Ramnath Pradeep, the chairman and managing director of Corporation Bank and chairman of Mangalore TOLIC presided over the programme in the presence of Executive Director of Corporation Bank Shri Narendra Singh. Several dignitaries from central government offices, bank, and Mangalore TOLIC undertakings participated in the event.


Shri Pradeep spoke about the importance of Hindi and encouraged everybody to use Hindi in their daily life. Shri Narendra Singh read out the Hindi Day message of the union finance minister. General Manager of Corporation Bank Shri K. Rama Murthy welcomed the gathering and read out the Hindi Day message of the union minister of home affairs.


Shri Ramanath Pradeep distributed prizes to the winners of various Hindi competitions held under the aegis of Mangalore TOLIC and Corporation Bank. Certificates of excellence were awarded to the functional divisions of Corporation Bank, which have excelled in their implementation of Hindi. Corp Karyapalak Puraskar Yojana, Corp Rajbhasha Puraskar Yojana, and Corp Sampark Adhikari Puraskar Yojana were also conferred on the occasion.
