Cow turns violent; attacks many; dies soon after tranquilization at Someshwar

Mangaluru, September 12, 2024: An incident wherein a cow ran amuck inside the compound of a house and also attacked a woman and many others took place at Someshwar on Wednesday evening.

Later locals managed to trap the cow and handed it over to the veterinarian. The cow died soon after it was injected with a tranquilizer. It is suspected that the cow was affected by rabies.

The cow belonging to a local was left for grazing when it all of a sudden turned violent and even rammed into a scooter.

Locals informed the Someshwar TMC Vice President Ravishanker who rushed to the spot and with the help of locals managed to trap the cow.

Veterinary officer of Kotekar has suspected that the cow was affected by rabies.
