DK administration honours toppers Deepashree, Amoolya Kamath

Mangaluru, April 9, 2025: Dakshina Kannada district administration on Tuesday felicitated S. Deepashree from Canara Pre-University College, Kodailbail, Mangaluru, who topped in the commerce stream with 599 marks and Amoolya Kamath from Expert Pre-University College, Kodailbail, Mangaluru who was the joint topper in the science stream with 599 marks.

Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada M.P. Mullai Muhilan felicitated them in his office with K. Anandh, Chief Executive Officer, Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat.

Mr. Muhilan asked students how they prepared for the examinations and how they studied regularly. Parents of the students were present on the occasion.

Congratulatory message

Meanwhile, Speaker of Legislative Assembly U.T. Khader has congratulated the second year pre-university students of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts for securing first and second ranks, respectively, in the State.

Students of undivided Dakshina Kannada have continued the legacy of top quality education of the coastal belt, he said in a statement. Students of the coastal belt are known for their hard work. “I congratulate the students, teachers, education institutes and parents for maintaining the quality of education,” Mr. Khader said.

Minister in charge of Udupi district Lakshmi Hebbalkar in a statement congratulated students, teachers and parents of the district for Udupi securing the top position in the State.

“The achievement of students is appreciable. Let their future be bright,” the Minister said adding that Udupi district is far ahead in education sector.
