Mangalore, Sep19. 2011 : The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI), district level, organized a protest demanding an inquiry into the double murder case. It may be recalled that a mother and her 8-year-old daughter were murdered in their home in Panjimogeru in broad daylight.
In his protest address, delivered in front of the DC’s office today, Muneer Katipalla, the president of the DYFI, said that people have the right to know the facts about the case. He urged the police department to complete investigating this case at the earliest possible.
Stating that the mother-daughter duo was murdered in broad daylight, he said that the case still remains unsolved. This makes life very dangerous for common people, he said.
Flaying the police department for its failure to solve the case, he said that the police should stop harassing innocent people if they cannot find the real culprits.
DYFI President Imthiaz B. K., District Secretary Dayanand Shetty, Anil D’Souza, and many others participated in the protest.
