Mangalore, Jun 22: The dead body of autorickshaw driver Ganesh Mallya (39) of B. V. Nagar in Pachchanady was found near the MCC dumping yard at Pachchanady in the outskirts of Mangalore on the morning of June 22, Tuesday. Passersby, who saw the body hanging from the end of a rope tied to the branches of a tree, informed the police.

The rural police have registered the case as suicide; however, they still haven’t found what the circumstances that forced Mallya to commit suicide. Investigations are still on.


Some of the local people, who had gathered at the spot, said that the autorickshaw driver must have been murdered because he had some enemies. More information regarding this aspect of the case is not available.
