Decomposed body of a man found hanging in a farm near Ullal

Mangaluru, April 4, 2016 : A person from Assam was found hanging from a tree in a coconut grove at Natekal near Ullal on April 3, Sunday. As the body was decomposed, the suspicion is that the man might have ended his life some days ago.
The age of the deceased person has been estimated at 45 and the coconut grove where the body was found belonged to a person named Thomas. That the deceased was from Assam could be ascertained on finding an ID card in the trousers pocket which mentioned the name as Mithun of Assam.
The reason behind the extreme step is not known. Police suspect that the man might have come to Ullal in search of work.
