Mangalore, Jan 26, 2012: Deepak Fernandes of Kulshekhar has bagged the first prize in the first ever online crib contest conducted by newskarnataka.com, a Kannada news portal. The contest organised with the co-operation of the Karnataka Regional Youth Commission, had received unprecedented response not only from the state, but also from across the nation and globe.
The winners were announced on the basis of online voting as well as the decision of the jury. The second place has gone to Pradeep of Kudupu, while the third position has been shared by Lower Ponnangila Ward, Bantwal and St Paul’s Church, Balkunje.
