District Kannada Sahitya Sammelan commences with flag hoisting

Mangaluru, Feb 12, 2021: The three-day Dakshina Kannada District Kannada Sahitya Sammelan commenced at the Sharada Vidyalaya at Kodialbail on February 12, Friday with the flag hoisting ceremony.
Mayor Diwaker Pandeshwar who hoisted the national flag, said every individual should strive towards protecting Kannada land, literature and culture.
District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Pradeep Kumar Kalkura hoisted the Parishat flag while Sharada Educational Institution President M B Puranik hoisted the conference flag.
Sammelan Chairman Prabhaker Joshi, Corporator Jayashree Kudva, Bharath Seva Dal’s Manje Gowda and others were present.
