Door-to-door protest seeking more jobs for locals in MRPL

Mangaluru, Jun 05, 2021: Leaders and representatives of various like-minded organisations organised a door-to-door protest across Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts on June 5, Saturday to oppose the neglect of local candidates in recruitment to MRPL.
The protestors demanded that recruitments already made must be cancelled as the people of Tulunadu have been deprived of job opportunities. They also sought the implementation of Sarojini Mahishi report recommendations.
A symbolic protest held in front of the main gates of MRPL was participated by DYFI State President Muneer Katipalla and others.
