Dr Jayaram Shetty, Radiation Oncologist at KS Hegde Hospital passes away

Mangaluru, Jan 12, 2023: Dr Jayaram Shetty, a Radiation Oncologist at the Radiation Oncology Department of Justice K S Hegde Charitable Hospital at Derlakatte passed away due to heart attack on January 11, Wednesday. He was 53 years of age. Dr Shetty hailed from Parari in Gurupur but resided in Mangaluru. He is survived by his wife and a daughter.

He was on duty yesterday and had returned home in the evening. As he was getting ready to attend a function, he suffered a heart attack and died while being rushed to the hospital.

Dr Shetty pursued education at KMC and had been serving the Radiation Oncology Department at KS Hegde Hospital since 11 years.

Nitte Deemed to be University Chancellor N Vinay Hegde and the medical fraternity at KS Hegde Hospital have condoled the death of Dr Shetty.
