Mangaluru, September 2, 2024: Dr. Prasanna Kumar Shetty K., Professor and Head of KSHEMA IVF Fertility & Reproductive Medicine Centre at KS Hegde Hospital, Deralakatte, has been honored with the prestigious ISAR Dronacharya Award. The award was presented by the Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction (ISAR) in recognition of Dr. Shetty’s significant contributions to the field of Assisted Reproduction (IVF) and Infertility.

The award ceremony took place at the South ISAR 2024 Conference held at ITC Gardenia, Bangalore, on July 27, 2024. Distinguished attendees included Dr. Ameet Patki, President of ISAR; Dr. Asha Baxi, Hon. Secretary of ISAR; Dr. Nivedita Shetty, Chairperson of the Karnataka Chapter ISAR; and Dr. Manjunath CS.

ISAR, founded 25 years ago, is a national association of IVF and infertility specialists, gynecologists, embryologists, and other professionals dedicated to helping childless couples. With a membership of over 4,100 specialists across India, ISAR is committed to advancing education and practice in the field of Assisted Reproduction. The society annually honors outstanding professionals with the Dronacharya and Young Achievers Awards at its conferences.
