London, Oct 26, 2023: Dr. Ronald Colaco, a distinguished NRI globally recognized for his outstanding philanthropic endeavors, was honored with yet another prestigious accolade by the Institute of Directors (IOD) during a special event at the House of Lords in the British Parliament, London, on October 19 as part of the IOD’s Global Convention.

 

 

 

 

 

This event, hosted at the House of Lords in the British Parliament, London, was marked by the presence of renowned corporate figures of international acclaim and was graced by distinguished dignitaries.

Dr. Colaco, who had previously been honored by the World Book of Records, London, during the Indo-UK Summit in 2022, received the Certificate of Excellence for his exceptional contributions to the upliftment of society in Karnataka. His pioneering services, spanning over three decades, were recognized in more than 25 fields, culminating in this remarkable achievement.

The Distinguished Fellowship 2023 Award was presented to Dr. Colaco by The Rt. Hon. The Lord Mayor of the City of London, Hon. Paul Scully MP, and Lt. Gen. Surinder Nath, PVSM, AVSM (Retd.), President of IOD, India, on behalf of the Institute of Directors, India. The certificate was signed by Justice M N Venkatachaliah, the Former Chief Justice of India and Chairman of the Institute of Directors.

In addition to this prestigious recognition, Dr. Colaco was recently honored as the "ASIAONE Global Indian of the Year 2022," placing him in the esteemed company of luminaries such as Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Nobel Laureate Amartya Sen, Pepsi CEO Indra Nooyi, and Reliance Foundation Chairperson Nita Ambani.
