Dr. Veerendra Hegde will be the Chief Gguest at Yoga day in New Delhi

Beltangady, Jun 18, 2015: Dr. D Veerendra Heggade has accepted the invitation to be the chief guest at International Yoga Day celebration which will be held at Rajpath New Delhi on June 21.

Veerendra Hegd... International Yoga day will be also be celebrated at Dharmastala on the same day said Dr. Prashanth Shetty, Principal of Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences.

Speaking to the press on Wednesday, Prashanth Shetty said "In 2014 a new Guinness world record was created in Mangaluru were 62827 students participated in yoga at the same time at 47 different centers in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada district. Comprehending this, the union government offered an invitation to the Heggde.

Dr. Heggade will also be the chief guest at International Yoga Conference which will be held at Vigyan Bhavan New Delhi.

Yoga and moral education project director, I Shashikant Jain, Shantivana Trust Secretary, B Seetaram Tolpadithya and head of Yoga department of naturopathy college, Dr. Shivaprasad Shetty were present.
