Udupi, Dec 28, 2022: In a shocking case, a teacher of the Alangar Government Primary School was found sleeping on the verandah of the school reportedly due to excessive consumption of alcohol.

This incident has also caused alarm among the parents of the students studying in the school and many are questioning how such a teacher can shape the future of the students.

The local gram panchayat has asked the Zonal Education officer to suspend the teacher named Krishnamurthi.
