Duo arrested with fake notes worth Rs 4.5 lakhs

Mangaluru, Jan 03, 2023: Kadri Police have arrested two persons on the charges of  fake note circulation. Police have also seized fake currency notes of 500 denominations worth Rs 4.5 lakhs from the duo.

The arrested have been identified as Nijamuddin alias Nizam (32) of B C Road and Razeem alias Rafi (31) of Jeppu.

Interrogations of the duo revealed that they got the fake notes from a person named Daniel in Bengaluru and that the duo had also stolen a scooter in the city in order to pursue their illegal act of fake note circulation.
