Mangaluru, Sep 28, 2023: Muslims across the city are celebrating Eid Milad with religious fervour on September 28, Thursday. Eid Milad processions were also taken out in some areas of the city. Several members of the community including children too took part in the processions holding colourful flags and banners. Dafli and Music bands were also part of the procession.
Eid-Milad falls on the third month of Islamic calendar and marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad.
The day is marked by various programmes including religious meets and religious discourses in mosques.
