Mangaluru, April 8, 2025: This year, Expert PU College, Mangaluru, has created a record-breaking performance, with 33 students securing ranks within the top 10 statewide—an extraordinary accomplishment for the institution.
In a stellar academic achievement, Amoolya Kamath, a student of Expert PU College has topped the state in the 2nd PUC Board Examination conducted in March 2025. She secured an outstanding score of 599 out of 600 in the Science stream, earning the top rank across Karnataka. Amoolya scored a perfect 100 in five out of six subjects, setting a new benchmark for academic excellence.
Fellow student Shreya S. secured the third rank in the state with 597 marks, while Shadjay A. P. achieved the fourth position. The fifth rank was jointly shared by Dhanyatha Gowda K, Vachana Allamaprabhu Bagodi, Chinmayi R., and U Rohan H. Shenoy.
A total of 1,634 students from the college appeared for the examination, with 1,627 of them securing first-class marks. The breakdown of results is equally impressive:

Among other high scorers were Mallambika, Vismaya Hiremath, Preksha Avabhratha (each with 594), and a host of others including Pragathi M D, Yashas Gowda H P, Hanishka Shetty, and Karthikeya R Mayya with scores of 592 and above. Notably, U Rohan H Shenoy, Mallambika, Pragathi M D, Hanishka Shetty, Karthikeya R Mayya, and Heer Renish Dedakia scored 100 in four subjects.
