Famed Konkani singer Claud D’Souza passes away

Mangaluru, July 24, 2023: Famed Konkani singer, composer Claud D’Souza passed away on July 24, Monday morning following a brief illness. He was 67 years old.

Claud had the credit of holding as many as 61 musical nites. He was also a writer, director and actor and has presented over 40 Konkani plays. He had also released 15 CDs. He had also won many awards including Sandesha Award and Karnataka Sahitya Academy Award.
