Beltangady, February 8, 2025: A family in Kulpedaibail, near Madanthyar, has abandoned their home following a series of eerie and unexplained occurrences that have left them deeply unsettled.

Umesh Shetty, the homeowner, reported that for several nights, strange incidents have taken place. Clothes have inexplicably caught fire, utensils have fallen without cause, and household items have moved on their own. Even sacred offerings like sandalwood paste and prasadam have mysteriously disappeared. Alarmed by these events, the family left their residence on Thursday, seeking refuge at a relative’s house.

News of the occurrences spread quickly, drawing curious locals to the property. Strangely, no unusual activity was observed when visitors gathered outside.

Umesh, who lives with his wife and two daughters, stated that all family members have experienced unsettling sensations, including the feeling of an unseen presence moving through the house. Adding to their distress, gold ornaments recently vanished without explanation. Umesh, who works in centering construction, suspects supernatural or divine forces may be at play.

The most startling incident occurred when his daughter, Rakshitha, allegedly captured a photograph of a ghostly figure. Recalling the moment, she said, “I was studying when I heard a strange noise. When I turned, I saw a pale-faced figure with long hair. I quickly took a photo on my mobile phone.” The eerie image, depicting a blurred, spectral face, has left both the family and locals in shock. Notably, no similar incidents have been reported in neighboring houses.

Adding to the mystery, Umesh revealed that prasadam has been inexplicably appearing inside his scooter upon his return home. In an attempt to uncover the cause, he monitored the vehicle for an entire day but observed nothing unusual. Seeking answers, he consulted astrologers, who suggested the house may be under supernatural influence.

Expressing his helplessness, Umesh admitted that financial constraints prevent him from seeking elaborate remedies. However, it has been reported that renowned spiritual practitioner Hulikal Nataraj is expected to visit the house on Sunday to investigate the phenomenon.
